Listen and choose the best answer (A–C) for each question.
A longer conversation between two or more speakers, with multiple-choice questions. This is the most demanding listening at C1: extended argument, speakers who qualify and reverse their positions, and questions about what someone implies rather than states.
Track who thinks what as you listen, not just what is said. A large share of the wrong options are opinions genuinely expressed in the recording — by the other speaker. When a question asks what one speaker suggests or concedes, the answer is usually a shift in their position rather than their headline view.
Because they were said — by the other speaker, or by the same speaker before they changed their mind. Attributing each view to the right person is most of the task.
For the attitude and inference questions specifically. Settle the factual ones first time round and leave your concentration for the items where a speaker's position has to be pinned down.
