Lively articles for a magazine or website that speak to the reader.
An article is written for a magazine or website, and the register is the whole test. It should sound like someone talking to a reader they want to keep — direct address, a question or two, a title that earns attention. An article written in essay register is the commonest way to lose marks on communicative achievement here.
That does not mean shapeless. It still needs a clear line of thought and a definite ending; the informality is in the voice, not the organisation. Read the task for who the readers are — the students at a school, the users of a website — and write to them specifically rather than to a general audience.
Yes — include one. It signals that you have recognised the genre, and it costs a line. It is one of the cheapest marks on the paper for communicative achievement.
Conversational, not casual. Direct address and rhetorical questions are right; slang, heavy contractions throughout and text-message register are not. The target is a well-written magazine piece, not a chat message.
