B2 First · Listening · Part 4
Listen and choose the best answer (A–C) for each question.
One long interview or conversation with multiple-choice questions on it — the sustained-concentration part of the paper, and the one that most rewards stamina. Unlike Part 1, everything here is connected, so a lapse costs you more than one answer.
The questions follow the order of the recording, which is your anchor: if you are still hunting for question three while the speaker has moved on, skip it and rejoin. Attitude and opinion questions dominate the later items, and the wrong options are usually views the interviewer raised rather than views the interviewee held.
Yes. Use that to recover if you lose your place — move to the next question rather than staying on the one you missed, and pick it up on the second play.
Practise the full-length part rather than snippets. Concentration for several minutes is a trainable thing and it is what this part actually measures — doing three short exercises does not rehearse it.
